​I wanted to try painting something different this time, as I had always been drawn to the sea, and wanted to paint a seascape this time. I wanted to paint pink, fluffy, and dreamy clouds that are honestly out of this world. As I am still exploring my painting style for seascapes, this piece is truly an exploration of what I could do with my brush to create water, clouds, and rock textures. I used a range of techniques such as spontaneously and quickly dabbing my brush to create the fluffy clouds, using the pointed tip of a brush to create the water line details. My painting portrays the seemingly static nature of the clouds behind the dynamic movement of the rolling waters. This painting will create some excitement in any space!
