I painted this Water Lily scene in different shades of green. Inspired by my visit to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, I was inspired to paint this poignant scene of water lilies sprouting out beyond the surface of the water. I took some liberties with the painting and added some water texture details and left some space soft white to mimic light falling on the water in a subtle manner. I also loaded my brush with paint (and little water) to create some rough dry looking textures on the water surface.
